Finals time and I'm not doing so well in math. If I ace the final, I'll get a C, I think. A llittle late now for a tutor. Not that I have any free time to be tutored anyway. I'll just try to teach myself the chapters. That may mean some sacrifices, but I'll just have to make them. This picture makes me feel a little better, though.

It was a probability class with permutations and binomial statistics. I learn a little slower in math than most people, and the teacher was just flying through it, and completely unavailable for help. I hate feeling like the stupid kid in the room. It's so daunting. But now finals are over, I can breathe a sigh of relief.

I friggin hate binomials... had a brief encounter with them in Calc III. Jesus... Don't ever feel stupid girl coz that's when you start doubting yourself. Just ram the sucker through. Hope you passed the class... :)
And what're you doing taking a class in mathematical applications for statistics? I thought you were an English major...

:) thanks for the support
The math class is a prerequistite. My major was journalism, but I couldn't see myself being so objective about tragic stuff like murders and geonicide in Africa. I'd be on screen crying next to Wolf Blitzer going " Omigod people what are you doing to each other????!!"
But maybe I'm just not cynical enough. I'm thinking hard on switching it to education. I think I'd like to be a professor teaching a composition or creative writing class. College kids are full of new ideas and fun to work with. who knows?
