Rode the bus this morning. Car is in the shop. It's an interesting human experiment in proxemics when you're on a crowded bus. What do you regard as your space? Why is it interpreted as a threat to be close to someone? One of the girls sitting near me was blind, and had a huge Golden Retriever guide dog she kept trying to shove under the seat to keep him out of the way. I wondered what was going on in his mind. A car outside the bus honked and he leapt to attention. He knew that honking was not a good thing for this girl. It took several minutes before she could coax him under the seat again.
Made me thankful for my sight.
