My Big Fat Greek Car
07.28.05 (6:46 pm) [edit]
Amazing how the chain of events in my life keep linking here and there. A couple days ago I decided it was time for me to get my own car. Paid in saved-up, hard-earned, completely-mine, cash. However, after school costs and geez, just the cost of groceries for a full time vegan, I am left with a measely $2500 to get a decent, reliable car with.
I think I actually found one though! Some of the powers that be must be smiling down on me. I found a lovely Honda Civic in my town being sold by a Greek couple. It looks promising. Will Mary Anne finally get her wheels? And will they be purple? Stay tuned...
I swear, if I buy this thing, The first thing I'll do is go out and have a good gyro.

Purple? You serious? Well, hey, it's really your car... You know, they say purple represents sexual frustration and suppression.

Ah... maroon. A regal color. I got myself a new car two months ago. Went from a 6 year old forest green to a brand new Vader black. Still stayed in the Pontiac family though. I think my next car's gonna be a hybrid. My conscience has been bugging me about it, but I'll save up for it on the next buy.
